About Elemental Wetland & Ecological Consulting, LLC
My work tasks include wetland delineation using the ACOE method, observing and documenting wetland and upland communities and their functions, tracking surveys, RTE surveys, and determining regulatory wetland functions within the project setting. To date I have worked on and documented (professionally and education related) over 230 wetlands in VT, NH, ME, and MA as a researcher, botanist, student, volunteer, consultant for private entities, and former regulator--and the number is still growing. I think practically about complex environmental challenges while balancing human and ecological interests within the regulatory framework of VT. As well, I take the time yearly to attend training relevant to my field, keeping up with curent scientific knowledge, permitting issues, and new methods for resolving environmental issues. I enjoy working as a part of a team of professionals and on an individual basis, no matter how small or large the project!
